Chiselled and Lady Dan are the two to concentrate on in the opener and the vote is given to Chiselled. The selection was a little disappointing last time behind Coleorton Dancer but he had previously finished ninth in the Weatherbys Super Sprint at Newbury and if he can reproduce that effort here then he will be hard to beat. Lady Dan was disappointing in a handicap last time at Redcar behind Claret and Amber but she had shown a fair level of form previously, but she is probably better over 6 furlongs and for that reason we will overlook her. Llamadas missed the break and was an unlucky loser at Musselburgh last time behind Monashee Rose, but he does not look the most straightforward of characters as he has his quirks and he can't be backed with any confidence. Of the remainder, Russian Rio was well backed on his debut and is surely better than he showed on that day so he is worth noting in the market and for the winner we return to Chiselled.
