In depth

Verdict

This doesn’t look as strong as the first division. Chinese Spirit missed the break at Hamilton on Saturday night but was staying on strongly in the closing stages and should figure if fully recovered. Highlight Reel certainly has a chance on the pick of this season’s form while Only The Brave, who has only had two runs since arriving from Ireland, is one for the shortlist if fully wound-up. ONE FOR THE LADIES was just beaten at Beverley two weeks ago off this mark and, with Joanna Mason doing the steering again, looks the one to beat.
