There was some cut in the ground when MY SPIRIT made a winning start at Nottingham. A winner has already come out of that race so the form looks solid enough and the Haggas filly gets the vote. A rise back up the weights for winning at Pontefract in April looks to have put Maven out of contention and Spavento's connections will be hoping the ground dries out for their charge. Cosmic Halo continues to struggle while Michelton was well beaten over 6f on her handicap bow at Newbury in October and takes a big step up in trip for her reappearance.
