Not the strongest of races by any stretch of the imagination and this looks a good opportunity for Indian Venture to open his account over fences. A useful hurdler, the Nicky Richards-trained gelding has taken time to adjust to the larger obstacles but put up an improved effort when a close second behind a useful yardstick at Musselburgh last time and a reproduction will make him hard to beat at this level. Diceman has run with credit against decent opposition and this represents a significant drop in grade. Sue Smith's charge looks a big danger but Commanche Quest has not impressed with his jumping and hails from a yard that has been struggling to fire in the winners of late. Trading Trouble was still in contention when coming to grief three out at Catterick when last seen out in January and is entitled to go close if none the worse for the experience.
