Verdict

Tony McCoy has a rare ride for Howard Johnson on the exciting KILLYGLEN and with the yard firing on all cylinders just now, he is taken to prove too good for Oumeyade and Chief Dan George. Oumeyade is now with Donald McCain having been successful with Paul Nicholls. His form faded towards the end of last season and a watching brief is advised here. Chief Dan George is a talented performer, and he won successive races last season in novice events, having already stamped himself a talented hurdler. He is respected, though his form is below the level of the selection. Killyglen slammed Chief Dan George before taking the Mildmay Novices' Chase at Aintree in the spring. He prefers easier ground, but the conditions were quick at Aintree, and the champion jockey looks to have found himself a mount of real potential. He can guide Killyglen to a winning seasonal return.
