      Verdict

      Veteran Fieldsman was a close third over a shorter trip here last week having gone close at Wolverhampton the time before. Confils was recording a second victory at the track when successful over course and distance four weeks ago but has never won off a mark this high. Ower Starlight is 0-10 on Turf but has won three times on the all-weather. ROMANOVICH seems to have got his act together as he followed up a second over 7f here with a win at Chepstow and has only been raised 2lb.
