        Verdict

        This is a potentially-informative novice event as it features runners from several powerful yards. Matloob showed good speed at Doncaster and his yard won this last year but OCEAN RUNNER just looked in need of the experience when a beaten favourite at Ascot and can recoup losses. Of the newcomers, How's The Guvnor is a half-brother to three winners and changed hands for £90,000 earlier this year while there is plenty of speed in the pedigree of Kingswood Flyer. Gushing Gold and Boneless would also be worth a second look should the market speak in their favour.
