      Verdict

      This will not take much winning and Royal Mirage, whose last effort can be forgiven as his saddle slipped, looks the one to beat. There is no doubt with him about the trip, as he has proven he stays further, when winning a Classified Stakes race at Windsor. That was a much better race than this and he can help Richard Hughes on the way to the 100 winner mark. The maiden Just Emerald takes a step up in trip, but she will have to find plenty of improvement if she is to trouble the selection, while All-Weather winner Tioga Gold looks to have plenty on giving weight away all round.
