A rather unappealing punting proposition but a chance is taken with MAJOR ERADICATOR. The gelding scored here in May and followed up with an acceptable performance behind Valentino Oyster at Ripon before finishing completely tailed off at Newbury last time. That was not his form and hopefully the application of blinkers can elicit a return to his previous level. Sunset Boulevard is obviously a leading player here for Jim Best and a repeat of his latest winning Lingfield effort when overcoming Aine's Delight would ensure his presence at the business end. Haulit has yet to visit the winner's circle but represents shrewd connections and showed enough last time to be of interest in this modest contest.
