In depth
Verdict
Imperial Force has been very disappointing since third in last year’s Norfolk Stakes and could find one too good again in the shape of EXCEL POWER. Archie Watson’s colt didn’t have much to beat at Wolverhampton but did it well and these should be more to come. World Of Windhover wears blinkers on his belated debut while Beryl The Peril hasn’t shown much so far.
