      Verdict

Enigmatic is just a pound higher than when winning this on his reappearance in 2019, despite victories last year at Leicester and Kempton. Harry Burns is good value for his claim and it’s easy to envisage Joseph Parr’s seven-year-old being in the firing-line again. Cliffs Of Capri ran well in some hot handicaps last summer after winning in Dubai and is another for the short-list even though he’s having a first run since July. Gin Palace is a tough front-runner who has won twice under Georgia Dobie and will be all the better for a run at Newbury 10 days ago but MOSTAWAA would have gone very close to landing the Spring Mile at Doncaster had he not reared at the start and the winner has already franked that form.
