      Verdict

      Bernard Spierpoint has gone up a massive 10lb for completing a double at Yarmouth and this is a tough test. RED ALERT has a 4lb penalty for completing a track and trip double last week and a hat-trick beckons. Rhythmic Acclaim has had just five starts, all on the all-weather, and has never won but is getting closer and fast ground shouldn't be a problem. Yimou and Porfin are reasonably consistent at this level though the former hasn't won for three years.
