Verdict

Granary Queen, one of six course winners in the line-up, won this last year but is 10lb higher. Ideal Guest completed a track and trip double last summer and also won at Ascot so can't be dismissed though SIR WINSTON (NAP) is taken to get back to winning ways. Roger Varian's charge went up 5lb for scoring here and made a bold bid to overcome the extra at Chepstow. Aidan Keeley can use his 5lb claim today and can steer his mount to another victory. Chelmsford winner Whispering Song may have needed her recent return at Kempton while Tolstoy is on a long losing run but is dropping to a winnable mark.
