Top weight Kensington holds a solid chance on recent form and gets the vote over Temper Tantrum and Cross My Shadow, while Pragmatica has done very little wrong of late and can go close again today. However, she has been expensive to follow and, as her limitations have been exposed, the daughter of Inchinor looks a risky option for win only purposes. Cross My Shadow has bits and pieces of form that bring him into the argument. He hails from a shrewd operation, so a solid move for him will be dangerous to ignore. Temper Tantrum is yet another whose yard have done well of late and he should not be underestimated. For a gelding that cost just 550gns, Temper Tantrum has given his connections a healthy return with four wins and five placed efforts from his previous starts. He has more on his plate today, but does act well on the track and is reliable enough for each-way punters to consider. However, marginal preference is given to Kensington now that he has got his act together. The son of Cape Cross has long hinted that a seventh furlong will not go amiss with him and this looks a fair opportunity for him to put the theory to the test.
