The Brooke Sanders-trained A Woman In Love has gone well here in the past and is expected to confirm last season's superiority over Temper Tantrum on these terms. There are a handful of other rivals to consider though as the likes of Warlingham, Alafzar and Gun Salute all come into the race with solid claims on the best of their form. The first named especially catching the eye after his gutsy win at Yarmouth just over a week ago. The six-year-old is set to race off just a 1lb higher mark and, considering his previous record at this track, looks sure to go well again today. Alafzar can be a tricky ride but he had a good spell on the all weather over the winter and has a solid chance if he handles the switch to turf this afternoon. Whereas Gun Salute is a likely candidate to set the pace and has a good chance if he is allowed an easy lead. However, he lacks the finishing kick held by A Woman In Love and, as she has already proved herself over course and distance, she looks a more reliable option to find the necessary requirements when it really matters inside the final furlong.
