Quite a good race for the track as the likes of Talwandi, Twelve Bar Blues and Al Bleeda all hail from top yards. However, Sunny Lady has done very little wrong in both her starts this term and is selected as the one to be on today. The Ed Dunlop-trained filly has looked a much improved performer since being upped to this sort of trip and, as one only two horses in the race to have achieved a rating so far, sets a fair standard for the rest to aim for. As a three-year-old she gets all the allowances today and will not be found wanting for assistance from the saddle with Eddie Ahern doing the steering. Talwandi is a rare runner at the course for Sir Michael Stoute and has to be respected accordingly. However, Sunny Lady makes more appeal at the likely prices and looks the value option this afternoon.
