Connections of Zebrano will be hoping for the rain to arrive in Sussex for the Chepstow winner to be seen at his best in this wide open handicap and while Emma Lavelle's charge remains of interest at a bigger price our preference is for the unexposed LOCHAN MOR with Arthur's Egde also respected. The selection is running at the top of his game at the moment and was expected to go one better when beaten in the final 100 yards last time. He's up two pounds in the weights for that which seems fair as he's sill unexposed. David Probert reunites with Arthur's Edge, who he piloted to a nice success at Goodwood on the gelding's last outing. That was in softer conditions but he likes quicker ground too and he should go well at this track despite his penalty. Zebrano was unlucky not to win on his only previous start here over a furlong extra on very fast ground. The step down in trip here is not an obvious plus and the way he lost his action at Folkestone last time suggests he wants conditions softer, however, he remains of interest with Richard Hughes looking an eyecatching jockey booking. The Galloping Shoe looks another interesting contender off a competitive mark but with more expected Lochan Mor has the vote.
