POUR LA VICTOIRE was nicely produced by Poppy Bridgwater to score here recently and the course and distance winner, a model of consistency, can go in again. Black Caesar is still performing solidly for the soon-to-retire Philip Hide and should give this a good go while Lucky Beggar, now down to a dangerous mark, can't be ruled out after a solid effort in the grey horse race at Newmarket at the weekend. Gulland Rock scored at Yarmouth in May but his inconsistency remains a concern.
