        Verdict

        Prince Valentine deserves to get his head in front and should do at the expense of Wiltshire, Granary Girl and Noorain. The selection has finished second on each of his last three runs and most latterly when second to String Serenade over one mile two furlongs so this shorter trip will be in his favour. Wiltshire has been running well of late for a yard who has had a couple of winners in the past seven days. His second to Ulysees at Hamilton last time out reads well so any market moves should be noted. Both Granary Girl and Noorain have bits and bobs of form and are more than capable of a decent performance but for the winner we return to Prince Valentine.
