In depth

Verdict

Baboosh, Ganymede and Regency Red are three against the field in another wide open contest and the vote is given to Baboosh. The selection was a fair second behind Good Article last time out, runs off the same mark here and with the first time cheek peices likely to bring about some more improvement he looks the one to be on. Ganymede rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Jedeeron but he remains a maiden after 31 starts so can not be put forward with any confidence. Regency Red is another that could go well on his latest third behind Montasari but he looks weighted up to his best. Of the remainder Blackmail looks sure to have the race run to suit and could go well at a price while Melvino is a rare runner at this track from this shrewd yard and for the winner we return to Baboosh.
