A wide open contest here and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Prince Valentine, Primeshade Promise and Hadath and the narrow nomination is given to Prince Valentine. The selection won with a little in hand when beating Diamond Dan last time out and although having a penalty for that win he still looks ahead of the handicaper and he will be hard to beat. Primeshade Promise rates the main danger on his best form but he was disappointing last time out so he can not be put forward with any confidence. Hadath goes well at the track and was a fair second behind Riolo and with Patrick Hills taking off a handy seven pounds he will not be far away. Sincerely was a fair second behind Mountain Pass last time and despite top weight is another that will not be far away. Of the remainder Fantasy Defender has dropped to a handy mark and could go well at a price but in a race where few can be ruled out for the winner we return to Thr Progressive Prince Valentine.
