      Verdict

      Jackie Love normally goes well for an apprentice and is back over her best trip. The Mongoose has claims on his best form and finished ahead of Gracie's Games at Chepstow earlier this month but there hasn't been much encouragement in the recent runs of Spartic, All Right Now and Fairy Mist. The Guru Of Gloom and Jonnie Skull have also gone off the boil but KATMAI RIVER can't drop much later in the ratings and Joey Haynes takes off a further 7lb here. He probably won't get a better chance to end a losing run that stretches back more than a year.
