In depth

Verdict

NUBAR BOY has yet to win over further than a mile but was beaten only a head over today's distance at Leicester three weeks ago. He makes most appeal ahead of last month's course and distance winner Gabrial The Terror, who is 6lb higher today. Secular Society has slipped 11lb down the weights this season but has yet to show any benefit and Whitby Jet hasn't won on Turf since 2011, though he has dropped back down to a winning mark.
