    Verdict

After a fair run at Sandown, Groor was sent to Ascot for a Listed contest but couldn't cope and finished well beaten. He'll appreciate the drop in class but faces in-form rivals including British Embassy, who was staying on strongly in a similar race at Pontefract and will be suited by the extra furlong. Mylaporyours landed a soft ground maiden over the minimum at Bath and didn't run badly in a better race than this at Pontefract while Framley Garth has had four runs in strong maiden company at Newmarket. It was only a seller that CAFE CORTADO won at Yarmouth but she still looked inexperienced and with further progress expected she can make the transition into nursery company and take this.
