Quite a nice maiden for the track with GEOLOGICAL a narrow preference to build on a solid enough Goodwood debut for the thriving Hannon team whose juveniles almost always seem to improve for their initial racecourse experience. Town Crier's classy yard enjoyed a nice juvenile winner at Bath over the weekend and the Acclamation colt seems sure to go close after a good runner-up effort at Leicester last time. Popeswood is the most exposed of the field but is in no way discounted on the back of a pleasing effort behind the highly rated Baitha Alga at Chester on his latest start. Steady Major is a likely improver on a fair Newmarket debut whilst Faraajh is an interesting newcomer.
