      Verdict

My Anchor showed improved form over a mile at Chepstow last time so it's a surprise to see him dropping back down in trip here. FISHER LANE ran a bit better than the bare result suggests at Salisbury last month and looks to be improving. Olly Stevens' colt has a good chance of opening his account in this grade and is preferred to Nice Arty, who disappointed at Wolverhampton after finishing third here on his second start. Sweet P ran green on debut but hinted at ability and has more scope than most of her rivals - she shouldn't be far away granted normal improvement.
