      Verdict

      Richard Whitaker can make the long trip from North Yorkshire pay dividends in this finale via WOTATOMBOY. The mare had plenty in hand when making all over C&D earlier this month and a 3lb weight rise is unlikely to thwart her today. She should confirm running with Pocket's Pick, but Ace Of Spies' Leicester second suggests he's edging toward a more lenient mark and Bobby's Doll has been largely consistent lately. Bateleur looks on the downgrade, however, and it's unlikely a first-time visor will inspire Luisa Tetrazzini to lose his maiden tag.
