Again we have a battle of the hat-trick seekers and there is very little to choose between Simple Rhythm and EVEN BOLDER but with the last mentioned taking a slight step down in class from his win last time will take the gelding to score while Raimond Ridge is now close to his last winning mark and is on the shortlist. Both of our leading protagonists go unpunished for their latest wins and the selection is possibly also better treated on the pick of his old form in addition to taking this step down in class. Simple Rhythm is actually chasing a turf four-timer with a run on the polytrack spoiling an otherwise perfect recent record. We know this filly goes well here having scored on her only previous visit and we wouldn't be surprised to see her go very close. Raimond Ridge is rated back in the mid to late 60s for the first time since scoring in February so Mick Channon's gelding could be seen to a better effect in this race. Edith's Boy looks well treated on his return to handicap company after victory in a maiden last time but with proven handicap form on the go we'll just take Even Bolder to land the last.
