Sam's Cross will probably be popular in this seller but we will take him on with LANDUCCI, while Duke Of Milan can also go well. Although the selection is 6lbs worse off at the weights here than if this were a handicap, he loves it at this place with six course wins, five of them at this distance. He acts with cut in the ground and has previously won in this sphere, so there are plenty of reasons to believe that he can come good again now returning to 7f. Sam's Cross also looks to have strong credentials and scored here over 6f in a seller last time out. However, his only two career wins have come over that shorter trip, and he is also unproven on soft ground. The blinkers may not necessarily be so effective this time around either, so there are reasons to take him on and we will do so. Duke Of Milan is another who has not won beyond 6f, but he has run well in defeat over course and distance and remains in form, so he could make the frame. Straitjacket won a 7f Lingfield seller last month, but consistency is not her strong suit and Landucci will do for us.
