led briefly, lost touch from halfway
soon led, headed and weakened over 2f out
chased leader, effort and every chance 3f out, hung left under pressure
always going well, held up behind leaders, headway to lead over 2f out, ridden clear
Bermuda Beauty gets a narrow vote over Saxon Saint, with In The Fountain and Magical Music and Bayhope seen as the other main contenders. This has the look of a competitive affair given that it is only a seller, and quite a few of these juveniles will no doubt make their mark in nursery company in time. Bermuda Beauty is a tentative pick on the strength of a couple of seconds in similar grade this season, at Haydock and Redcar, and it is hoped that the step back up to seven furlongs will be in her favour. She was unlucky in running at Wolverhampton on Friday and is on a retrieval mission here. Saxon Saint ran his best race on fast ground here the time before last so should go well along with In The Fountain, a stablemate of the selection who will improve over today's distance. Magical Music is going the right way judged on her second at Yarmouth last time, but she does not appear to be a straightforward ride at present. However, she holds Bayhope on latest running and is another to consider. For the winner we return to Bermuda Beauty.
