Temper Tantrum went close last time and compensation surely awaits for him today, with Adalar and Jackie Kiely put forward as the main dangers. The selection was a good second behind Golden Spectrum on this track last time and with the step-up in trip unlikely to inconvenience him he is difficult to overlook on a track that clearly suits. He will need some luck-in-running as he is a hold-up horse, but providing the gaps appear he should be the one to beat. Adalar ran okay at Bath last time but he is probably better over a shorter trip so although he is entitled to run his race the likelihood is that he will find a couple too good. Jackie Kiely ran well at this time last year and has been threatening to win a race, so he has to be of interest today with the booking of Jamie Spencer eyecatching. Milton Bradley sends two to post post here, the best of which should be Fleet Anchor. Ryan Moore is booked for the ride and as he has a tremendous strike-rate here, he is not one to dismiss lightly. However, for the winner we will stick with Temper Tantrum.
