In depth

Verdict

Namu has looked an improved performer over the last month but the Barry Hills-trained filly may be a shade high in the weights now and a better bet looks to be Scarlet Flyer, who is preferred to Mango Music. The last mentioned has been running well without winning since his debut in March and there is a suspicion that Mick Channon's filly is a shade high in the weights at present. Ralph Beckett's Mimiteh looked a shade unlucky at Windsor last time and cannot be ruled out entirely, while Perfect Treasure has been well held in two starts in handicaps and is another that could do with some assistance from the handicapper. The maiden Make My Dream is hard to recommend on recent evidence and preference is for Scarlet Flyer, who has been running consistently well of late and is taken to gain a deserved success.
