      Verdict

      Nervous Nerys finally opened her account when returning a 20/1 winner over track and trip a fortnight ago. She’s only 2lb higher today but ALICIA DARCY (NAP) has tumbled 19lb down the weights since the start of the year and finally showed some benefit when beaten only a neck at Wolverhampton on her second outing for Archie Watson’s yard. First-time blinkers may bring further progress and she makes most appeal. Urban Highway had been threatening until posting a modest effort over 7f and is preferred to Miss Liberty Belle back over this shorter distance.
