Verdict

OCEAN READY (NAP) escapes a penalty having won an apprentices’ race over a mile at Salisbury with plenty in hand. This longer trip should not be a problem and Sir Mark Prescott’s charge can go in again. Monna Valley is upped 4lb for winning at Lingfield while Not Touch has gone close the last twice now as he still searches for that elusive first win. Tenerezza ran well on her handicap debut when placed at Wolverhampton and looks a danger with plenty of scope for improvement.
