Verdict

This looks competitive with last year's winner Boonga Roogeta remaining on a winning mark despite a 5lb rise for scoring at Chelmsford last time. Tears Of The Sun is looking to confirm running with Special Miss after finishing runner-up at Bath while both Lady Marl and Stosur have a shout on their form over a mile but are unproven over today's longer trip. Calm Attitude looks high enough in the weights on her return but Elbereth has scope for further progress. However, Richard Hughes' presence on PUZZLE TIME (NAP) takes the eye and the latter gets the vote having found only one too good in a tougher handicap than this at Ripon last time.
