Verdict

CHEVALLIER remains without a win but not for want of trying and he was placed again at Kempton last time. He gets another chance in this company with handicap debutant Major Pusey perhaps posing the biggest danger after a close-up fourth at Bath last month. Mrs Eve was beaten only a length at Wolverhampton but drops back in distance but the remainder have yet to threaten though Presto Boy slips further down the weights and should have come on for a recent reappearance.
