        Verdict

        Wonderful Desert is a sporting selection in a wide open handicap, Elusive Warrior and Cindertrack could be the main dangers. Luca Cumani's filly could hardly be better bred, she is by Green Desert out of a top class mare Oh So Wonderful. However she showed very little in three races as a juvenile and as consequence gets into this handicap on a seller's mark. With such illustrious parents she has to be better than that and we expect her to make a much better three-year-old. Elusive Warrior gained an overdue success when comfortably beating Cape Win over course and distance last time and should go close in his follow up bid. Meanwhile Cindertrack has gone close in handicaps and maidens this season and should be involved in the finish despite top-weight. All in all a very tricky contest but we think Wonderful Desert can add to Luca Cumani's impressive record here at Brighton.
