It's hard to make a case for many of these, so course and distance winner Delcienne is taken to score again, with :Labelled Of Love probably the main danger. Labelled With Love has been disappointing in his last couple of runs on sand, but had earlier finished sixth of 13 in a decent handicap at Newbury, a race in which the third, fourth and fifth have all won since. That form would give him an excellent chance in a race like this and with Jim Boyle's yard having a double at Goodwood on Thursday, he has to be respected. There is little else that catches the eye, although Rae Guest's Noble Desert is lightly raced and has more scope than most. But we just prefer the filly Delcienne. She was a very easy winner of a course and distance seller in June, and wasn't disgraced in two subsequent starts in better company. George Margarson's filly has had a little break since her last race at Carlisle, but as long as she is fit enough to do herself justice, Delcienne will take some beating here.
