        Verdict

        NOVERRE TO GO was never headed over a slightly longer trip here on Friday. It's no surprise that he's turned out again quickly under a penalty as he won with a bit in hand and a follow-up is on the cards. Cardinal has run well enough on Turf this season to play a part but Trending is probably better on the all-weather. The Dandy Yank could make the frame if in the mood but Archie Stevens was beaten in a lesser grade at Salisbury last time and Whitecrest disappointed at Bath, though often runs well on this idiosyncratic track.
