    Verdict

Serenity Spa was well out of her depth in a Listed race at Nottingham last month but has decent claims back in this grade. PRETTY BUBBLES missed the break when favourite at Leicester eight days ago but stayed on strongly in the closing stages. Though beaten a length-and-a-half by Sarangoo at Kempton in April, John Jenkins' six-year-old is 6lb better off here and entitled to turn the tables so gets the vote. Bridie Ffrench has lost her way since a close-up second at Doncaster in April and neither Birdie Queen nor Athenian Garden make much appeal on these terms.
