Verdict

There was cut in the ground when SPANISH ANGEL disappointed at Chester last time but Andrew Balding’s colt was beaten only a neck on fast going at Goodwood before that and a repeat should be good enough to land this. Newyorkstateofmind still finished five lengths behind the winner when runner-up at Windsor back in June while the newcomer Freshwater Cliffs is bred for further and will need to be above average with the likely favourite rated 81.
