Rather than guess at the ability of the newcomers, a safer option would be to stick with BIRDMAN. He finished a respectable third at Newmarket behind previous course winner Heavy Metal on last month's debut and makes more appeal than Danz Choice, who faded badly at Salisbury on his first start. Of the newcomers, Boomshackerlacker is preferred to Standing Bear, but the Godolphin colt Bornean could turn out best of the trio as he's a half-brother to a Listed winner.
