The last three favourites have all obliged and Kalk Bay will likely prove popular as he bids for a hat-trick after victories at Chester and Doncaster last time. He should be in the mix but FIELDGUNNER KIRKUP gets another chance in this. Beaten in what looked a more competitive race at Thirsk last time, David Barron's charge had landed a double before that and is only 1lb higher than his earlier win at Catterick.
