        Verdict

        Noble Prospector has been unable to make his mark and may need further but Kodiac Pride didn't appear to take to Tapeta at Wolverhampton after a very promising debut at Lingfield. Assembled cost 75,000gns and is by Iffraaj out of a mare who has produced decent winners with her first two foals. Hugo Palmer's grey was unfancied at Wetherby but ran really well and should be in the shake-up. Canasta has had two runs at Kempton and has been crying out for a stiffer test, which she'll get here, but Jim Crowley comes here for one ride, which is hardly surprising given his mount MAYDANNY is by Dubawi out of Mark Johnston's brilliant Attraction. He cost a whopping 1.35million gns and there will be some long faces if the half-brother to seven winners can't make a successful debut.
