Verdict

Pearl Noir is in fine shape and has won from higher marks but it's very difficult to win from a draw this high unless the ground turns very soft. Boudica Bay returned to form on fast ground at Musselburgh and stall 10 is just about acceptable as she comes with a late run. Ambitious Icarus has won around here but is in stall 12 so Glyder looks to have more of a chance from the inside, though a strike-rate of 1-25 is off-putting. Sophie Ralston will need the breaks to come on POINT OF WOODS but she's won on him before. Tina Jackson's charge ran very well on his comeback at Thirsk and the ground isn't a concern. Spirit Of Zebedee is drawn alongside him but all of his best recent form has been on Polytrack at Lingfield and this is much stiffer.
