KING'S CHORISTER can continue his good recent run of form at the main expense of Kochanski and Saffron's Son. Gay Kelleway's gelding has made the frame on four of his last six starts, winning one of them over 10f at Yarmouth just recently. The drop back to a mile saw him put in another good effort in a selling handicap at Thirsk on Friday and he has also run well over this trip in the past, so there is every chance that, while in this company, he can nick another race from the same mark as last week's. Saffron's Sun has the headgear fitted for the first time and Paul Midgley, who has his string going well, will be hoping that both that and the drop back in trip here can galvanise a greater effort from his charge. Kochanski has already won over this trip on the Polytrack and has slipped to a very winnable mark now, though he does appear to want genuine fast ground to be at his best and the going forecast here is not that quick. Lomica steps back up in trip again and if she doesn't hang away her chance then there is every reason to believe that Julie Camacho's filly will be better suited by this far and so could get involved, but preference is for King's Chorister.
