Verdict

Military Call won over a mile at Ayr last month, but he only runs to his best when he feels like it and is unproven over today's trip anyway. LA BACOUETTEUSE scored on his seasonal debut at Newcastle earlier this month and followed up at Carlisle on Thursday - he can defy a 6lb penalty and land his hat-trick. Freda's Rose was winning for the first time on her belated seasonal debut over a mile on soft ground here recently, while Petomic and Hits Only Jude would figure on their best form but can't be relied on to produce it.
