    Verdict

Not much separates Patavium, Wadnaan and PARK'S PRODIGY here with narrow preference for the latter. Our pick won in decent fashion at Musselburgh last time, a track he enjoys, and is only a pound higher ahead of this assignment. The six-year-old won't mind this quicker ground and gets on well with his rider, while his tactical versatility could also count for plenty. Patavium made all to score at Doncaster, in the process showing he can act on quick ground, and he'd be hard to beat if allowed to set slow fractions once more despite the 3lb rise. Wadnaan looked set to break his duck at the fourth time of asking at Hamilton before being reeled in and he merits respect ahead of this handicap debut off what appears a fair mark. Dunaskin has rated much higher in the past but is nothing better than a plater these days while Maybeme has a lot of improving to do if she's to trouble the judge, so we'll return to Park's Prodigy.
