VENTURA FLAME won this in 2021 and has a very good record here. She's won off a higher mark and on soft ground and last week's second here, when she had Dandy Dinmont a close third, should have put her spot-on. May Blossom is another dual course winner but she hasn't run since October and has generally needed her first run back. Princess Karine may have won on her reappearance at Newcastle with a few more yards to travel so this stiffer track should play to her strengths but Beattie Is Back has only won on the all-weather and is looking a bit high in the weights.
