Verdict

Despite a poor draw, ALPHA DELPHINI finished ahead of Line Of Reason in the Bullet here at the start of the month. Bryan Smart’s gelding has been taking on some of Europe’s top sprinters this year and can get his head back in front against lesser opposition. Edward Lewis ran well in a York handicap last month so may be the danger as Ornate was disappointing last time at Nottingham, though would have every chance on his best form. Elysian Flyer and the returning Ziggy Lee look to have little chance on these terms.
